"Big
Ten, Commander!" G-Force is a team comprised of 5 teenagers who have sworn an oath to protect Earth from all invaders ("The Fierce Flowers, pt 1"). As such, they have been trained almost since birth to accomplish their job. Each member has special skills, weapons, vehicles and a distinct personality. At most times they appear very mature for their age, at other times, the fact that they are teenagers sneaks through the tough facade.
Each has cerebonic implants that give them powers beyond that of a normal human. Very rarely in the series is it said exactly what these powers are, but we can get an idea. In "The Duplicate King" the entire team shows a very high tolerance to drugs (also "Prisoners of Space"). Their ability for fantastic leaps and quick movements in nearly every episode are another a clue.
The implants would be needed for at least 2 reasons: to give their bodies the stamina for fighting in situations where they are typically outnumbered, and also to withstand the 'Fiery Phoenix' effect without being physically drained.
